LionsBot complies with applicable GDPR and international data protection laws to ensure accountability and security. Its information security management system is certified to ISO/IEC 27001:2022 – data protection is built in from the design phase ("Data Protection by Design").
Two-factor authentication via an individual QR code ensures that only registered personnel can access the robot. Role-based access control (RBAC) cleanly separates permissions – from operator to site manager.
Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest (AES-256). A central audit log records user activity with the responsible party, source, type and timestamp – fully traceable for your compliance needs.
The depth cameras are used for navigation and do not capture identity-related information – low resolution, no recognisable faces. Recordings run as an encrypted black box locally on the robot, are overwritten after 24 hours, are never transferred to the cloud, and can be deactivated on request.

Data for European customers is stored on EU servers and is not transferred between regions. Personal data appears masked in the dashboard; deletion takes place on request or after a maximum of 10 years of archiving.
Communication is exclusively encrypted (HTTPS, MQTTS, WSS). Software is delivered via signed OTA updates with dual administrator approval and a complete audit trail – including protection against tampered updates.
SOC 2 Type 2 report for the LionsOS command system, plus independent penetration tests for robot IoT, the mobile app and the portal. Certificates, penetration test reports and GDPR documentation are available on request via salesmotion.
